A massive fire wreaked havoc in the Saint Andrews Hindustani Church near the Turf Club on Monday morning. The Central Fire Station officer, Sunil Gilbile informed that “We got a call around 8.05 am. The fire had started at dawn and spread to the entire building. The cause could be a short circuit.” It took one hour for these fire fighters to bring the fire under control. Five fire engines and four water tankers were used for the purpose.
Although no casualties have been reported so far, there has been a lot of damage inside the building. It church was constructed in 1860 and represented to architecture of a British era. The teak wood inside the building fuelled the fire and burnt the alter, benches, marriage records, 200 chairs, pulpit, music system, two computers and about 2,000 religious books. Fr Steven David said that the total damage amounts to almost one crore.
The management of the Church believes that it is a sabotage and want the police and the government to probe the incident thoroughly and conduct an “impartial enquiry”. After visiting the church, Bishop Thomas Dabre remarked that “It does not appear to be an accident. We suspect this is a case of sabotage as such a huge fire cannot be caused by short-circuit.” The fire brigade is yet to find out how the fire could have started in the church. Parishioner Samson Bhite has reason to believe that it was impossible for such a massive destruction to take place within a matter of half an hour. He said that an electrical short circuit could not have started the fire as it had been changed last year.
At around eight in the morning, the security guard saw smoke coming out of the church and called the fire brigade. The fire spread inside the building within a matter of minutes. When people came to know about the incident, they gathered there and wept openly. It was very painful for them to see that everything inside the church was destroyed. Venkatesh Bharata, the treasurer of the church was saddened by the incident. He said, “I started crying. It felt like my own house was burning. But we have decided that we will restore the church to its earlier glory before Christmas.”
Gilbile said they received a call at about 8:15 in the morning, and immediately sent a fire engine to extinguish the fire. “But we realized the magnitude of the blaze while on our way to the spot and asked the control room to send more fire tenders. When we reached the church, the entire structure was engulfed in flames.”

Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

I’d like to consider a shot at programming in this language nevertheless it seems with pretty understandable reason it’s only meant to be worked on by a Mac. Will there ever be a model that can be run under Windows?

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Thanks for expressing your ideas on this blog. Likewise, a fable regarding the financial institutions intentions while talking about property foreclosures is that the lender will not have my installments. There is a certain amount of time which the bank can take payments from time to time. If you are as well deep in the hole, they’ll commonly desire that you pay the actual payment completely. However, i am not saying that they will not take any sort of repayments at all. When you and the traditional bank can be capable to work one thing out, your foreclosure practice may cease. However, if you ever continue to skip payments wih the new plan, the property foreclosures process can just pick up exactly where it was left off.

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the structure of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Appreciate it
