On Saturday evening, a 16 year old boy drowned in small lake at Katraj. The police of Bharati Vidyapeeth have identified the dead body as Sohail Shaikh of Santoshnagar, Katraj. His body was taken out on early morning of Sunday.
According to police, Sohail and his three friends had gone for swimming on Saturday evening in a small lake near Nimbalkar Vasti. They further added that Sohail lost his breath while swimming and drown away. His friends informed about the incident to his parents and then to police.
Both fire brigade and police personnel searched for Sohail till late Saturday night and succeeded to fish out his body on Sunday morning.The case has been registered as the accident death with the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station.
