A pregnant woman from Urali Kanchan breathed her last Tuesday. She was flu positive. With this death the toll has done up pushing to 62 in Pune city.
Jayashri Arun Kale (27), who was six months into her pregnancy, was first admitted to a private hospital at Urali on September 22 with symptoms of flu.
said Joint Director of State Health services, Mr Mehta.
On September 25, Kale was initially referred to the Naidu hospital, where she was administered Tamiflu. As her condition growing critical, she was referred to the Sassoon hospital the same day and put on the ventilator. She, however, died at 5.13 pm on Tuesday.
he added saying that this may be a severe problem in the come winter.
In Pune, six students- four from schools and two from colleges – tested positive, Mehta said.
The Pune Municipal Corporation has been screening the students of these colleges and schools. As many as 80 schools and colleges reported positive after reopening of the institutions.

A total count of the positive tasted people has reached up to 21 in Pune district on Tuesday
