I’m designing on renting a privately possessed, unfurnished condo in California, and the owner desires a $500 pet repository on top of the security deposit, which is 2x the rent. The real estate agent working for the owner said that the security deposit limit of 2x the lease does not utilise to in private possessed condos. Anybody know if this is correct?
