The budding media aspirants of the Symbiosis Institute of Media Communication Department have come up with an initiative to organize a seminar on, ‘Footprints 2009′ at the Symbiosis Vishwabhavan on 24 Oct.

This is a kind of a platform for media aspirants and trainees to explore the existing trends in the media industry; the seminar has two themes, the growing concern for climate change-‘The Green Battle’ and ‘The Future of The Advertising Industry, ‘The road ahead’. The event has been sponsored by the Education Times among others.

The director of Symbiosis International University, S B Mujumdar will deliver the opening speech, while those who will be present in the panel discussion on the Green Battle’ include Satish Magar, the president of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) and Chandrani Chatterjee, the head of Greenpeace, Pune among others.

These sessions will be attended and contributed by a number of professionals from the advertising industry including Vijay Khambati, Chandramauli Prasad, Karl Gomes and Nandita Khaire. A photography exhibition has also been organized to provide the platform to expose the potential talent these students’ posses.
