City Lad swam 8 seas;first to do it in India,

Swimmer of PuneCity lad Aditya Raut has made the puneites proud of being the first Indian to swim through 8 seas after winning the strait of Gibraltar in Spain. He broke the record of seven seas of Bula Chowdhury.

He is  the student of Vikhe Patil high school and was guided by Vinay Marathe. On last fortnight, he had swum the Swiss channel.

Aditya’s father, Santosh said that apart from this, he has won Robben Island Channel (South Africa), Cook Strait (New Zeland), Gulf of Toroness, Dharmtar to Gateway (Greece), seven island of Tunisia and Catalina channel (US).
