The district minister Ajit Pawar declared on Monday that the schools, collages, private tuition classes and other educational institutions will remain closed for a week. It is an attempt to control the spread of H1N1 virus.
Including schools, the cinema halls both multiplexes and individuals will also be shut for next three days.
According to Pawar, there are about eight private hospitals have been made available for the treatment, but three of these are now not able to provide treatment because of lack of enough space to create isolation ICUs.
He told in news conference, that they have been made available the Tamiflu tablets for the city. The tablets will be available at all eight private hospitals and at the 15 H1N1 screening centers started by PMC.
The eight hospitals are Nobel, Sahyadri, Ruby Hall, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Nirmay, Lokmanya, KEM and Deenanath Mangeshkar hospitals.
