The proposal of new rickshaw stands have been put on table to be permitted by the concerned authority. And as per the recent news that this project will be implemented soon after it gets green signal by the above authority.So, it’s for sure that there will be new 458 rickshaw stands in the city, both in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. These new stands aimed to help streamline traffic in the city.
A high level meeting had taken to discuss the traffic issues in city during which the decision of new rickshaw stand was taken. The meeting was under the supervision of district guardian minister, Ajit Pawar and was attended by Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation officials and regional transport office officials.
The survey was conducted by the regional transport officials regarding to new rickshaw stands. Previous rickshaw stands were ceased because of road widening work. PMC will develop theses stands.
