He said that from last three days, there is a heavy rain and the climate has also become cool, where as in last week there was dry atmosphere. This weather condition is very helpful for spreading the H1N1 virus.
Siddharth Dalvi, a microbiologist said that the virus gets easily spread from one person to another in cool weather. During rainy condition, people prefer to stay at home, which can save the spread of the flu in the city.The virus lives longer in cool weather as it does not in the warm.
However, the rush to the city hospitals seems to have gone down from the last week, that is the sign of flu being controled in the city.
