D.Y Patil won the Bhandarkar Lele Trophy (BLT) trouncing Varroc Vengaskar Cricket Acadmy by a huge lead. BLT was organized by the city-based local Poona District Cricket Association on Tuesday.
The first day began with D Y. Patil scoring 219 runs and later bowling out VVCA for 91. The day after D.Y Patil’s huge lead, the opposite team bowled them out facing a target set by D. Y Patil of 270 runs for the win.
Pradip Kolhe helped D.Y Patil to set the good target of the runs for opposition by hitting three fours and three sixes.
D. Y.Patil’s another star player who scored 30 lead the team by 270 runs.
Sagar Bhandari scored an unbeaten half-century while Atik Qureshi supported him well with 54 runs. Sandeep Pawar helped restrict the opposition with figures of 2 for 53. The match was drawn but the points were awarded to DY Patil owing to their superior first innings lead
