20 year old white tiger died on Tuesday morning at Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, Katraj.
The super was born in Nandankanan zoological park in Orissa on May 6, 1989. In 1990, it was brought to the Peshwe park zoo and then shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Park.
The death of this Super tiger caused due to his old age as he had already lived an average life of 20.
The average life span of the tigers is in between 18 to 20 and the Pune municipal corporation stated that the super was at its last stage of life. It had stopped eating food since August 12, 2009 that it had become physically weak and passive
