Travel accessories, gardening tools, a silver ink-bottle that was gifted to him by Lord Mount Batten, the then Governor General of India are also preserved in the museum. There are other important articles also like utensils, books, trunk, pens, ink-pot, the bed on which this great soul breathed his last and the artistic depiction of the way he laid on that bed.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was awarded the Bharat Ratna by the Government of India at the hands of the then president K.R. Venkatraman. If you climb the stairs, you can notice the prestigious award Bharat Ratna and the lines written on it. Likewise the silver ink bottle is a very beautiful piece of art on which the Queen’s picture can be seen. The museum also displays one of the letters written in his handwriting. So this museum incorporates many of the important belongings of this noble soul. Old photographs of events in Ambedkar’s life are preserved here and shown to the visitors with care.
