Twenty years of experience and passion for making big in life has earned a lot of recognition and appreciation to Mr .R. S. Karande, the founder of Masterbrand Oil Company. City based Karande earlier worked with Bajaj at its Akurdi plant as a Research and development associate had dreamed of setting up his own company and the dream he had seen 20 years ago, seems to be coming true.

Having branches in Nagpur, Ahamednagar, Chandrapur, Nashik, Karande has set up two branches in the city at different locations and is looking forward to set up more all over the country.

And what’s more, this genius takes nobody’s help for Research and Development work, he is the only person who prepares the formula and provides it to his workers to create quality oil.

When asked about the brand and the quality of oil he produces, Mr Karande said, “we don’t recycle the used material like other oil brands. We just produce pure and quality oil with the help of crude oil to enhance the life of the vehicle. Working for 20 successive years has taught me how to make the formula that helps to save gasoline in today’s world.

One of the supporting pillars of the company Mr Nilish Choudhary, director of sells and marketing said, “It’s been a great experience working with Mr Karande as he is a moral support for every one in the company. I really astonish seeing that there are about six branches all over the country and he is the only R&D person in the company who prepares the manuals and formula for the production of oil. He does not allow anybody to intervene in the R&D lab.”

He further said that they are competing with brands like Castrol, vedol and Servo which are well known brands in the market today. They are well aware of the fact that they are a start-up and it is not easy for them to compete with above brands. But still they will overtake them in the near future.
