After a bunch of local sex workers were caught by the city police standing on streets at different areas in the city, the so called escort services which are meant to accompany some one for party purposes and not to sell sex, are found selling sex as two girls are trapped by the Social Security cell of Pune crime branch on Thursday.
The girls involved in the escort services hail from Delhi and Mumbai. They have been selling sex for years in the name of massage parlors and escort services in the city.
As per the investigation reports of SSC, one of the girls caught in the sex racket was earlier imprisoned by Yervada police in a murder case while the other woman, who hails from Delhi, used to work in an export company.
The trap was laid by the police team comprising of inspector Bhamare of SSC near Parihar Chowk and arrested the suspects involved in the sex racket.
We spotted a newspaper advertisement regarding escort service and massage centre. We contacted on the given number and requested for the service. The person, called Munna, asked us to meet at Parihar Chowk. We sent a dummy customer and nabbed the two women
Bhamare said.
The women caught in the sex racket have been booked under the Prevention of Immortal of Trafficking Act (PITA).
The agent, Munna, succeeded to fly, but our investigation is on looking for the agent Munna,
