On Sunday, the chief minister Ashok Chavan said that the situation of swine flu is under control now and they decided to reopen the schools, colleges and various other institutes.
He also added that it would take some time for the situation to come under fully control. The meeting was held with district and civic officials.
However, the schools and collages will be examined before reopening. The decision will be taken within 24 hours before the date announced earlier for reopening the schools and colleges.
Chief minister also said that the government is looking for setting an epidemic hospital at Aundh ESI hospital. He added that, there will two new testing laborites on the lines of National Institute of Virology and Haffkine Institute. However, he didn’t specify the location for the laborites.
