Malhargad is another nearest fort from Pune. after crossing the Dive ghat, take left to village Sonori from Dive. You may visit to sardar Panse Wada at Sonori, base village for fort Malhargad.
This ford is the newest fort built in Peshava era, and belongs to Sardar Panse family. This fort was built to store ammunition. You can get a glimpses of Blackbucks and Peacocks while climbing the fort hill.
Constructions on Fort – Protective wall, Shiva Temple, Khandoba Temple.
