On Sunday, a 13 year old girl and 55 year old woman were admitted to the isolation ICU of Sassoon Hospital. Both the patients are on ventilator in critical condition.
The girl was shifted on Friday from KEM to Sassoon Hospital after testing positive. The throat swab samples of woman have been sent for testing to the National Institute of Virology (NIV).
According to doctors, a six year old girl who was shifted to Sassoon from a private hospital on Friday is recovering now. While, a doctor and chemist admitted at Sassoon are still critical. Another case of a 19 year old boy from Kasba Peth is also in critical condition.
For now, there are new more seven cases admitted to the isolation ICU with breathing complaints. These patients are included a 30 year old man from Vishrantwadi, 40 year old woman from Nagpur Chawl in Yerawada, 11 and 18 year old boy from Ghorpade Peth, 12 year old boy returned from Saudi Arabia and 35 year old man from Ghorpade Peth.
