Pluto: 14k with cymbals (cheap option)
Chancellor: 24k with cymbals (decent option)
Mapex: 34k (good option) + add 9k for Zildjian cymbals
You don’t need to go over this if your friend is just starting ….

Yes i agree with Abhinav,There are some good shops in Pune… if you are wiliing to spend and good service is also available… Pune is now growing in sales and service center’s….

@Ayush: Best electric under 10000 can be Fender Squier or GB&A les paul.
However, if you can extend your budget look for Ibanez guitars, Schecter Omen 6, LTD EC-50, Cort EVLZ2, etc…
If you are investing so much in a guitar, I don’t think you should mind a couple of trips to PMC.

I don’t about Pune in regards of Instruments repair . But Segno Music does all the repairs . but it will be far for you . but quality work can be assure to you .

I have a gibtone acoustic guitar which I bought three yrs ago for 3100….I think there’s something wrong with it now I think the neck has bowed due to lack of maitainence or something. I read what many of u had written that don’t but guiatrs frm these Kolkata companies buy imported ones so what do u think would be better- buying a new, better quality guitar or gettng mine fixed? Also can u reccmend any shops which do repairs and things and a shop that will sell good guiatrs at reasonable rates because honestly I don’t know what to check while buying a guitar and I would need some advice……

thnx buddy i dont hv an amp bt ill manage to plug ma guitar to headfons fr nw atleast or to dvd player! cnt stretch ny furthur.. 20k is dead end! guess digitech processor wud fit in ma budget!wat do u say ppl? n u cn trust awaaz bt be sure that its genuine by chking its measures @ their(ESP) site! awwaz sell china made guitars bt they’hv got quality!

Hi Guys. I recently bought Hobner 265 Semi-electric guitar from a newly opened shop in Viddyut Musical Instruments, Dulya Maruti Chowk in Ganesh peth in Pune. Tha shop is in the Maruti mandir itself.
Along with that I got a extra set of strings, audio cable , shoulder belt, carry case and 3 Picks. I am totally satisfied with the piece and its a genuine one. The shop owner was himself a guitar teacher for 30 years and now sells all musical instruments.

@aditya pophale: stretch your budget to 25k .. buy ibanez (15k) and zoom g2.1 (8.5k) .. its a good combination … (I am assuming you do have an Amp)

I am looking for ESP LTD EC 200QM. Furtados quoted 23k (25% advance for order) while Aawaz quoted only 16k (10k advance).
The pricing at Aawaz looks too good to be true. Can I trust Aawaz that they will give me the right thing?
