If you are planning a one day trip to a nearby place from Pune and that too along with your family, you won’t get a place better than this. I am talking about the Manas Resort which is one of the most popular picnic spots around Pune. Manas Resort is perched in the area blessed with matchless natural beauty and divine tranquility. Though not far from the city of Pune, the place is definitely far away from the common din of the city life and all the mundane hurries and worries it brings along.

Where is it Located?
Manas Resort is located in the quiet area of Bhugaon in the Mulshi taluka of the district of Pune. In terms of distance, it will be around 20 km from the main city. This proximity to the city adds to the popularity of Manas Holiday as a perfect destination for a one day trip.
Pleasant Climate:
The climate of the place is so healthy that the tired city souls use it as a panacea to rejuvenate their tired lungs and weary minds. Manas Resort is the perfect weekend getaway for the individuals, friends’ groups, families and corporates longing to experience the serenity and tranquility of the long walk ways and to sooth their eyes with the lush greens.
Grand and Regal Service:
Manas Holiday Resort management has made all the arrangements for making your holidays grand and regal. You find all the modern amenities that are necessary to make your stay comfortable. Visitors come here with a wish to have a much needed change and the place does offer them that change. I am sure when you come here you will forget all your anxieties and tensions and won’t feel like indulging in your daily routine again.
Chief Attractions:
Among the chief attractions here, boating, Go-carting, play grounds, multi cuisine restaurant serving different varieties in the platter and the party venue are a few. As for the party venue, you can shake your legs and rock the dance floor in tune with the DJ music. Besides there are many more turn ons that make you spell bound. You find here all the luxuries of life one could wish for. Manas Resort claims to be one of the best resorts in Pune and rightly so.
Other Uses:
The resort is not only a place for a short stay but it is a famous venue for business meetings, conferences and seminars. The conference hall here is spacious enough and the restaurant beside the hall makes it a perfect venue for grand occasions.
Courteous service with smile seems to be the motto set by the resort management and you are pleased when you are treated like a king here.
So whenever you feel like setting out on a weekend trip to some nearby place from Pune let Manas Resort be your first preference. It will be a memorable trip in your life.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

I do like the manner in which you have presented this challenge and it does provide me some fodder for consideration. However, coming from what precisely I have personally seen, I only trust as the actual reviews stack on that people stay on issue and in no way get started upon a soap box regarding some other news du jour. All the same, thank you for this outstanding piece and even though I can not go along with the idea in totality, I regard your standpoint.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

I like a creamy casserole. Cook 1 to 2 cups egg noodles, drain well. combine the noodles with: 1 cup cream(can substitute milk) with 1 can mushroom soup( mix soup and cream together first),then add grated carrots and peas( add to taste, I only add a small amount of each, just for color), 1 can tuna fish, a little cheddar cheese, and top with canned fried onions(can substitute bread crumbs or potaote chips). cook for about 30 to 40 mins at 350 to 375 degrees.

We (wife and two kids) went there at 2:30 PM on a saturday and the place was like deserted. After having some drinks and starter we went for boating. The boat people were rude, (though we were the only coustomer). Most of the boats were not operational. In the garden there are two swings and one sea-saw and one slide. Smaller than any society garden. Go-karting was exteremly costly 150 rs for 5 min. Boat ride is 200 rs for 15 min.
In our meal we had ordered malai kofta which was really rotten, on complaining they remove the price from bill without any apology.
The food is also very costly (180 rs for half butter chicken)
Some couples came in while we were about to leave.
We are happy that we are back, my daughter is already sick with high fever.
The place is full of insects and flies hovering over the food.
This place is total no no…..

Manas is a good place for boating and dining. The go-carts are very ordinary and nowhere near the cost they charge (Rs250 for 5 min). The boating is Ok with Rs175 for 4 persons for a round in the small lake.
The Thai restaurant, Lemon Grass is good for thai lovers. The pad thai noodles and veg fried rice are real delicacies. Go there on a cricket match night and they have a 5×5 ft projector making the garden dinner even more enjoyable.
