Mrutunjayeshwar Temple in Pune

Located on Karve Road, Mrutunjayeshwar temple is an ancient temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is surrounded by beautiful garden and is visited frequently by devotees.

Shri Devdeveshwar Sansthan (Parvat & Kothrud) manages Mrutunjayeshwar temple along with other famous temples in Pune. An open auditorium is provided by trust where entertainment programs and lectures are held along with bhajan and kirtan.

    you just visit and see the place for dhyan. and it will help you to go up in spiritual track with colour blue entrance.. shiva… hari om..you will go to next stage or step where inner body succed or win their own soul. for a 24hrs enjoy in dhyan only..that is mrutunjayeshwar.. live shiva temple.. mohan punekar.enjoy real pune..?

    the temple is a very old one and kept beautifully.Once you enter inside it reminds you of the old heritage temple.There is always a huge crowd on mondays.2 shiva lingams are installed on the temple.The main lingam is inside and not allowed to be touched, but there is a shiva lingam kept outside under the peepal tree.You will find may people doing dudh / ghee/ water abhishek on the shiva lingam on a monday morning.The temple is beautifully kept and quite neat.Must go for a shiva devotee.
