Today’s youngsters are getting attracted towards the corporate world due to the Global company’s presence in the metropolis.
On the one hand, these corporate companies are luring youngsters by offering various facilities, and on the other hand the forces are facing the shortage of the officers.
But there are some youngsters who really want to join forces and go through a rigorous grind at the National Defense Academy (NDA), the military training institute in India. Most of youngsters lose their ambition or didn’t reach there because of lack of information to join forces.
To attract the youth towards the defense, a 54 minute documentary film ‘My Flag My Life’, is going to be release, through which the Wing Cdr (retd) Rakesh Sharma will put the message for youth to look forward to shining bright as the protector of the nation.
The film is conceptualized by Anagha Ghaisas and Sanjay Dabke did the direction for the film. The film will be released by former president, APJ Abdul Kalam at Ganesh Kala Krida Munch, Pune on August 7.
About 1,700 students from Class X, XI and XII would attend the screening of the film.
The film covers all important schedules, including training, programs and important events that are a part of all six semesters across three years of graduation at NDA. The shooting of the film was done at Suratgarh Air Force Station in Rajastan, Hindon Air Force Station in Uttar Pradesh and Pune-based Lohegaon Air Force Station. The students’ life across all the three years at NDA is covered up in the film. Mhaiskar Foundation is sponsoring the film.
Ghaisas believes, that the points of the career described in the film are very essential and are need of the hour. She experienced how the students of schools and colleges get confused about the eligibility criteria for joining the defense forces. She said that the film is youth-oriented and will arise the hope to join defense forces.
