Aishwarya Kale, a meritorious student of Fergusson College, Pune, is one of the five girl students from the country and the sole person from Maharashtra who has been selected to go to Moscow under the youth exchange program.
“I felt proud after coming to know that Aishwarya is the only girl from Maharashtra who has been chosen for this program. It is a great attainment for any student and this shows that with hard work and apt use of intelligence, one can achieve great feats in life. I wish Aishwarya all the luck in life and hope that she continues to make India proud,” said Sushmita Karmarkar, a resident of Aundh.
In the past, Aishwarya has been honored with three prestigious awards namely, All India Best Central Cultural Mike Comparer, All India Silver Medal for the Best Cadet, and Best Cadet (Director General of NCC). She has also participated in the Republican Day parade at Delhi.
Granddaughter of Marathi writer V P Kale, Aishwarya has been trained in different dance forms including Bharatnatyam, Kathak, and Salsa. Muktangan School, Pune, has felicitated her twice for being the ‘Best All Rounder Student’. She is also a die-hard movie fan and this multi-talented girl has acted in the Marathi film ‘Bokad’, which is to be released in December.
“Aishwarya has always been a very spirited girl. She was never content in doing one thing in life. She believes that an individual has immense innate ability and one who can explore it, can do great things in life. Apart from being exceptional in academics, she is also a good dancer and has a creative bent towards film-making. I knew that she would make all of us proud someday,” said Malvika, an acquaintance of Aishwarya.
