13 new positive cases of H1N1 flu have been reported on Tuesday, from which two students are from different schools. Both the schools will remain closed on Wednesday.
The city has reported its H1N1 cases to 73 on late Monday night with the test of four new people.
In all there are 108 cases in the country, from which the Maharashtra is having highest number H1N1 cases.
According to Pradeep Awate, the head of the swine flu control room in Mumbai, 13 cases were reported on Tuesday in Mumbai of which four were of students. There are 52 students detected with H1N1 from 73 positive cases.
Of the five positive cases two were IT professionals and three were parents of students who were tested positive.
The two schools, where students tested positive are located in Mayur colony, Kothrud and on Sinahgad road. Both the schools will be shut till the newly-formed joint co-ordination committee gives the further orders.
Till the date, 27 students from a primary school off Law College road, 21 students of English-medium school of karve road, 12 from a school in Bhusari colony, Kothrud and one from Kindergarten at Erandwane had tested positive.
Awate said that 34 of the 73 positive cases have been discharged and all 34 were recovering.
